Fashionista’s take to the stage
The Shore's young people have been pulling together a fashion show with a twist - most of the clothes on show will be made by the models themselves!
The show takes place on Friday 12 February and doors open at 7.30pm. It promises to be a great night with tickets on sale - adults £2 and young people £1 each.
This year there will be a drinks and canapés reception on arrival provided by The Shore's "S word" project and the event promises to be an exciting night, showcasing the hard work of local young people.
Last call for models and fashion designers!
The Shore fashion show is taking place on the 12th February as part of Young Scot's WOW Tayside day.
Only a few weeks remain before the show and the group is almost full but a few spaces remain for those who want to be models for the night. Monday 18th January is the last day that new models can join in.
Young people at The Shore have been making their own outfits and contacting shops to borrow clothes for the event. They have also been rehearsing with local dance instructor Megan Sands for their catwalk moves.
Rehearsals take place on Mondays from 4.30 - 6pm and you must be aged 10-19 years old to take part.
Retailers already confirmed to take part include New Look, Missy Lala's, Internacionale and Rara and The Pretty Vacant Show room with more to follow.

The Shore Christmas Event
Come along to The Shore for our Christmas Extravaganza.
Starting at 7:30pm, come along and take part in games.
Free buffet, come along and have some food on us!
Headlining Modern Culture plus special guests.

BATTLE OF THE BANDS
We are now looking for local young bands for a Battle of The Bands competition on Saturday 5th Dec. Prize will be either a voucher for Kennys Music or time in a recording studio.

Sensation Science Centre - Fingerprint Investigation!
Learn how police investigators use thier sense of sight to identify fingerprint patterns. We all have them, and they are all different! You will have a go at dusting for fingerprints, and take copies of your own fingerprints home!
Or if you need some information take part in the Youth Info workshop.

Come along to open doors on Sat 5 December 2:30 - 5pm.
Sensation Science Centre - Recycling
After an introduction you will work in groups to create a new product from 'recycled plastic' and present it back to the group.
Or if your already in the christmas spirt take part in the Art workshop.
