Facilities at The Shore
The Shore is a young person's venue in the heart of Dundee. We have a range of facilities in which we hold our workshops, activities and events. All our facilities are open to hire for Council departments, charity and other public groups; they all have disability access.

Reception Area
Access to the building from Shore Terrace takes you into our reception. Our characterful venue opens up here with its terrazzo flooring, ornate décor and a central staircase, which take you up to the main area. A lift offers a disabled entrance to all activity levels and cloakroom facilities are available. Check out the notice boards for youth information and news of citywide events.
Main Area
Featuring a stage, dance floor, café, lounge corner and DJ booth, the main area is the building's hub for a range of activities. During the day our Tay ‘S’ Tay training café is open to all from 10 am to 2 pm, where you can savour delicious home cooking, including our £2 two-course menu consisting of baked potato/sandwich/soup/pudding and a hot drink. The café is breast-feeding friendly.
The Stage
The stage hosts a range of events from rock bands and fashions shows to corporate training presentations, accompanied with a full PA and lighting system.
DJ Booth
The Shore's DJ Booth is home to our state-of-the-art sound recording and music epicentre.
The Kitchen
Our fully-fitted commercial kitchen is the hotspot for the 'S' Word training programme and home for all our catering activities. We also provide outside catering. Please contact The Shore on 435435 for details.
I.T. Suite
The I.T. Suite has 10 PCs for free use during our activity opening times and we also have Free WiFi. Like all our facility areas the area is available for to let.
