Activities at The Shore

The Shore provides a wide range of activities on a weekly basis for 10 to 19 year olds with a main focus on the Arts. A typical week at The Shore looks like this:

Tuesday	5.00 - 7.00	Music tuition by DAFT (please book)
Tuesday	5.00 - 7.00	Band rehersal slots (please book)
Wednesday	6.30 - 8.30	Media group (please book)
Wednesday	7.00 - 9.00	Art group (please book)
Thursday	4.00 - 7.30	Duke of Edinburgh's Award (drop in, please phone)
Friday	7.30 - 10.00	Friday night events
Saturday	1.30 - 4.00	Open Doors (drop-in sessions)

 

The 'S' Word

On weekdays we also run the 'S' Word. This is a Get Ready for Work hospitality training course for 16-19 year-olds to gain work skills and vocational qualifications.

Outreach sessions

We run art, media and music workshops session with partners in education and a range of community groups and agencies throughout the city.
